Vendor Spotlight: Bill Kendrick with Alliant Capital Advisors, LLC
Each week, we spotlight one of our favorite vendors. While you can always see our complete list of categories, names, and contact info here, these blogs will give you a chance to get a deeper understanding of who these people and businesses really are. This week, get to know more about Bill Kendrick, a business broker with Alliant Capital Advisors.
What sets you apart from other business brokers?
Our firm works from a structured and disciplined process that focuses on confidentiality throughout the process.
What qualities should we look for in a business broker?
Someone well connected, professional and who has the support from a number of other people in the organization.
When should people call you?
A business owner can never plan too early for the eventual sale of their business. The earlier they start, the higher potential to maximize the value of a transaction.
What’s a great tip for people who may need your services?
Make sure that the financial reporting of the business is verifiable. A business owner will only get value from what can be verified by Tax return or P&L.
What happens when a potential client calls you for the first time?
We set up an initial meeting where I get the financial information to perform a “free” valuation of the business.
Where do you live? What do you like about that area of town?
I live in Franklin. My family loves living near Downtown Franklin.
What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend in Nashville?
Relaxing at home or attending sporting events for the Auburn Tigers although this year has not been good.
What is your favorite local business?
Any privately owned restaurant like Red Pony in Downtown Franklin.
How can customers connect with you? Facebook, Twitter, etc.
In addition to my email Kendrick@alliantbroker.com I am on linkedin and facebook.
